Ten things Democrats and Republicans can do to cooperate:
 

0. Bring Osama bin Laden to justice.

1. Fight drug abuse and decriminalize responsible use.

2. Promote UN reform to establish representative democracy at the international level.

3. Treat gun control as an education, registration and licensing issue by analogy with automobiles and drivers.

4. Set up a judicial review process to consider proposed abortions.

5. Get the Base Realignment And Closing process to tackle bases overseas.

6. Crack down on tax evasion and outsourcing by multinational corporations.

7. Get conservative about the environment together.

8. Develop a low income health care program.

9. Restore our public schools as the envy of the world and the foundation of democracy.
